Verly Community Guidelines

Effective date: August 22, 2026

Verly exists for Christian learning, prayer, discussion, encouragement and community. Disagreement is allowed. Abuse and exploitation are not.

1. Treat people with dignity

Do not harass, threaten, stalk, bully, repeatedly target or deliberately humiliate another person. Do not encourage coordinated harassment.

2. Protect children and teens

Grooming, sexual solicitation involving minors, sexual imagery requests involving minors, coercive secrecy, exploitation, trafficking, or attempts to arrange inappropriate meetings with minors are prohibited and may result in immediate restriction and preservation of relevant safety evidence.

3. Respect privacy

Do not publish another person's private address, precise location, phone number, private documents or other highly sensitive identifying information without authorization. Do not pressure minors to provide private contact or location information or to move a risky conversation off-platform.

4. No fraud or prohibited transactions

Do not use Verly to coordinate scams, extortion, trafficking, prohibited sales, theft, credential abuse or other unlawful transactions.

5. Discussion of difficult topics is allowed

Educational, pastoral, historical, recovery, news, legal or prevention-based discussion of crime, drugs, weapons, abuse or other difficult subjects is not automatically prohibited. Context matters. Facilitating harmful conduct is different from discussing or preventing it.

6. No credible threats

Credible threats of violence, extortion, targeted intimidation and serious incitement to harm may be blocked, preserved or escalated.

7. No sexual exploitation

Do not use Verly to sexually exploit another person, distribute unlawful intimate material, solicit exploitative sexual content, or facilitate sexual abuse.

8. Spam and impersonation

Do not operate deceptive accounts, impersonate others, mass-send unsolicited requests, manipulate engagement or use Verly for malicious spam.

9. Faith discussions

Users may respectfully discuss theology, biblical interpretation and religious disagreement. Do not use religious disagreement as a pretext for harassment, threats or dehumanizing abuse.

10. Reporting and enforcement

Use Verly's reporting and blocking tools when needed. Verly may restrict content or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these Guidelines or protect users.
